Legends

What is a legend? A legend is an old story. Legends have been told over and over for a long time. A legend may have some make-believe parts. Native Americans used legends to explain the world around them.

Mr. Power's class has been learning about Native American legends this year and even wrote some of their own stories. They celebrated the completion of their stories by presenting them to each other around a very realistic campfire in their classroom, complete with authentic Native American music.
