Prepare to take the General Educational Development test using technology-based learning software. Pre-testing is done to determine where students should concentrate their efforts. Ongoing practice tests are given to increase your test-taking skills.
GED ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS - Applicants high school class (based upon 9th grade entry date) must have graduated prior to the test date and the applicant must be 18 years old (photo ID required at registration & time of test).
The five-part GED test costs $200 and is administered in a two day testing session. For examinees wishing to take only parts of the test, the fee is $40 per test section. All examinees must pre-register and pre-pay; complete payment must be made at least one week prior to the test date.
All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Students registering for the GED preparation classes must pay a non-refundable $100 test deposit fee at the time of registration. You must pay the remaining $100 due at least one week prior to the test date. Students who are 20 years old or older as of September 1st of the current school year, must also pay a $25 class registration fee (per semester) when registering for the GED preparation classes.
