Diversity Action Council Grant Opportunity

The Huron Valley Diversity Action Council (DAC) invites educators, parents, and community groups to submit applications for educational "mini-grants." The mission of the Huron Valley Schools Diversity Action Council is to help each student feel safe, valued, and worthy while focusing on diversity awareness. It is the intention of the DAC to support as many initiatives as possible to those that teach and promote the values of respect and acceptance of others.

The DAC will be awarding mini-grants (up to $1000) to staff and community members wanting to bring programs or initiatives to the Huron Valley Schools community, which cannot be funded by the school district in other ways. All proposals will be reviewed by the DAC Grant Committee and will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
