and Building Utilization News from the Superintendent
Budget Challenges Continue
We have adjusted our 2009-2010 budget to reflect the $165 per
pupil cut implemented this year by the state. Fortunately, we
were able to offset this loss with a combination of federal stimulus
funds, losing fewer students than anticipated, lowering healthcare
costs, and making administrative reductions. With the use of
$800,000 in savings, we will maintain a balanced budget, which

The hard work, dedication, time and energy you gave to support the two millages
was phenomenal. On behalf of the Board of Education and myself, thank you very
much. We truly could not have accomplished this without your efforts. It is
heartwarming to live in a community that recognizes and supports their schools.
By putting our students first, you have demonstrated the commitment you have

After-School
Homeword Club!
Homework Club is an extracurricular activity offered
to any student that would like more help with thier school work. It
meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:20 to 3:20. The first session
runs from September 17th through November 5th. This Session cost only
$30. Please note there will be NO Homework Club on Thursday October
8th and 15th due to Parent Teacher Conferences.
